Our Story
LYONS of Scotland began with one sweater
— The Heirloom Sweater.
It was a personal project inspired by my late father, Peter — a real Scotsman — and by a desire to create something truly lasting. Each Heirloom Sweater is knit to order in Brooklyn from 100% Scottish cashmere, finished by hand, one at a time.
There was no grand plan, no big launch — just an idea worth following. What began as a tribute has grown into a brand defined by craftsmanship, patience, and story.
Now, with The No.1 Sweater, we’re introducing a new chapter. A lighter, everyday version made in partnership with Quince — still made with intention, still designed to last, and within reach of more people. Each drop is small, just thirty pieces at a time.
Both sweaters share the same purpose: to make something real, meaningful, and enduring, because good things take time. The best ones, we keep forever.
